: Just a short note to say that I, too, start to focus on the things I'm thinking that are wrong rather than enjoying the episode. If anyone else has this problem, the best way I know of to deal with it is to tape the show and then re-watch the episode. If I see the episode again, I will usually be able to "get into" it more and most of the time I'll end up really liking it, or at least accepting it.
: The first time I saw Mind the Baby, I almost hated it (especially since I had just re-watched Family Ties.) The second time, I felt it wasn't really that bad, and by the third time (this time with my Mom)I actually liked it. I now the episode can't actually get better, after all it doesn't change, but I was more accepting of it as I watched.
: So that's my advice to anyone who's interested. You should try it out if you can.
: Cilyna
: P.S. That's how I got through Star Wars - Episode 1 if anyone cares. Worked there, too.

Funny you should mention this. I have been taping each episode and I start so notice what is good about it when I re-watch it. I became use to changes that bothered me at first. An example would be D'Argo's tan, which I think is a good look for him.

The only thing that I have never been able to get past was the sudden disappearance of Stark in the first season.

Oh yeah. Star Wars - Episode I was much better the second time around. Another example of something having a hard time living up to all the expectations. But, thats another topic I could go on and on about and I don't want to bore everybody to tears.
