I think this was my favorite episode of season 2 (so far), but there's something weird going on. Has anyone else noticed that in the last three episodes people have been going crazy, and hence outside what I suppose we could call the normal range of character? I mean, everyone in 'Crackers don't matter' (play on words?) was really bugged out; they were all paranoid, Chriton was seeing things, etc. In 'Taking the Stone' Chriton was completely tripped out on those crazy mushrooms, plus most everyone else was stumbling around obviously under the influence. It's strange, but I only noticed all of this craziness after a line Chriton gave (I think it was in 'Vitas Mortis'), where he asked someone if he seemed crazy. It's not that I don't like the direction we're moving in, but it seems strange that the past few episodes we've been given have had this sort of extenuating circumstance surrounding the characters. "Well, even though they did this crazy stuff, it wasn't really them, 'cause, see, they were under the influence of this little alien they brought on board...." etc.
