I've personally attributed some of the more over the top crack-ups...the rise in smart-ass remarks, tantrums, and how it doesn't take much of alien whatevers to make him flip out...as a pointer in that direction. John's fast approaching a breaking point, & I'm skeptical as to the odds of finding a suitable shrink on that ship or elsewhere. Should make for a very interesting episode.

James Dean...not sure about that. But there's a definite aura there. I wouldn't kick him out of bed for crackers... Although lately he's developed this "stoned puppy-dog" look that I'm assuming is supposed to demonstrate sympathy, but is so against the scene--esp. this last episode (when on deck with Pilot & Aeryn)--that it's starting to aggravate me.
