: Does anyone else think that Richard (Crystal Maze, Dark City, Rocky Horror) O'Brien should have played Scorpius?? He would have brought a much needed sinister edge, that I think Scorpius lacks.

I'm not familiar with Richard O'Brien, but I think Wayne Pygram has great presence as Scorpius. I know this is standard fair for many good villians, but I like the way he uses a soothing voice to convey power, confidence and evil. A good exmple would be his very first line: "That man....he's an imposter. Seize him." Also, there is a moment when Crais is screaming while in the Aurora chair and Pygram shows just a hint of amusement with a subtle chuckling smile.

Very different from Craise's full throttle approach.

I have never watched Dark City, but I think I will be renting it soon to see the comparison.
