Of course, your grumbles have merit. However, I find in order to fully enjoy science fiction/fantasy I must suspend disbelief. After all, Scorpius is a wonderful villain & made possible with the impossible concept of inter-species breeding. (Yes, I do think Scorpy was a peacekeeper experiment, either that, or his mother had extremely bad taste). As for solar days & such, those terms just get the idea across without a lot of extraneous explanation.I love the show too. This ep was especially well written. Very Shakespearean: lots of palace intrigue, complex relationships, drama & well-placed humor. I’m excited to see what transpires! I think John holds some unconscious knowledge of worm-hole technology. The alien in the ep “A Human Reaction” said as much. Plus, when Scorpy reamed John’s brain he kept insisting there was something hidden. Cheers, Devin
