Neithan, I've got "The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth Beorhthelm's Son" in a copy of "The Tolkien Reader" from Ballantine Books. Also included are a commentary caled "Tolkiens Magic Ring" by Peter Beagle, Tolkiens essay on Fairy Stories including "Leaf by Niggle" and the short Tolkien tale of "Farmer Giles of Ham". There is also a section titled "The Adventures of Tom Bombadil" which is a collection of poetry. All in all a very intriguing work of well rounded content. It shows the diversity of Tolkiens work very well.

: Taking a break from exams (thanks Lea) and attending a viking wedding of two good friends in the reconstucted longhouse in Ribe (it was the most beautiful wedding and best viking party / banquet I have ever xperienced- some call it the best viking wedding for 800 years) I talked to another good viking friend who is British and formerly a teacher at Cambridge, in our drunken stupor (it was rather late- or rather it was actually rather early Sunday morning) he told me something concerning a Tolkien poem called "Brytnoth's homecoming" dealing with the aftermath of the famous battle of Maeldun (the poem written just after the battle which we had heard declaimed some hours before- to great applause and cheering as the Vikings slaughtered the Anglo-Saxons). Anyway, does anybody (Michael?, Hugh?)know anything about it, I would like to know.
