I know this may seem like over : analyzation, a thing I disapprove of (I know Tolkien disliked : it to). The reason I pose this question is because I feel it : shows that Tolkien saw the Maia and the Valar keeping their : ties to Arda. Remember it is possible because sea Rover and : Roverandom both get in site of Valinor and even see the green : hill of Tuna. ROVERANDOM was completed and ready for publication years before Tolkien had fully developed the idea of the Maiar. The connections between ROVERANDOM and the Middle-earth stories are amazing, but it's always possible that Tolkien was borrowing from the older material of ROVERANDOM in some places as well as borrowing from the older mythology for ROVERANDOM. : Your opinions would be appreciated. : Thanks : Jon
