: : Greetings to you all :) : : Tryimg to bring old RPG in consistance with Tolkien genuine works (gulps !) I am desperately seeking information about Dwarves and Dragons in the Ered Mithrim prior to Khazad-Dum fall (1981 TA). I remember that the EM were colonized back by Durin's folk from Erebor around 2500 TA, but is there any precision anywhere about what line of Dwarves was there before, for example those who were dispossessed by Scatha, and made troubles to the Eotheod newly arrived in the Upper Anduin Vales after their Lord Fram killed the worm (1977 TA or so, already discussed in past messages). Can anyone help me ?

: I can't help you but perhaps some of the more experienced people over on my board may be able to help! You can always ask =) : Here's the URL.

Well, I am probably rather experinced (and not very humble- I am a viking we are not suppossed to be humble), ICE has made a Middle-earth something entitled The Grey Mountains, it is not too bad. I also think Michael has an essay on Dwarves and dragons somewhere in the Parma Endorion. As I am currently doing my bachelor's degree-project, I do not really have time to help you, but I think the above sources can. Also Peoples of Middle-earth has a chapter on Dwarves and men. And I believe that UT has something on the Eotheod in the Vales of the Anduin. You are welcome to write me (at a later date) for more info, I too am an avid roleplayer and may have other things of interest. ;) Neithan (Palle_R@get2net.dk)
