: So basically, even though you don't think Arwen went with any of the search parties, you feel that she was one of the few who could ride openly against the Nine? So, she couldn't go on a search party, but she could travel all the way to Lorien, even though, as you say, "Sauron would be after her in a minute?" Something is wrong with this picture... :)

I never said she could ride openly against the Nazgul. Going to Lórien certainly would not be riding openly against the Nazul. There's a little difference here. In a search party, she'd be going towards the danger (since the Nazgul were after Aragorn and the hobbits) either by herself or in a small group. In journeying from Lórien to Rivendell she'd be protected by guards most likely, looking to avoid all danger, and going the straightest, quickest route (not wandering around the wild looking for hobbits). Plus the Nazgul wouldn't be pursuing her unless they knew she left Rivendell and if she stayed hidden and quiet enough, it might never happen. So I think she'd be in far less danger going to Lórien than going in search of the hobbits who were bing pursued by the Nazgul. So I don't think anythings wrong with this picture.
