::to get even near to guessing that principle, you need a far deeper insight into both spirituality and science (and unfortunately, those who have one shun the other, so with the present attitude, this won't happen).

Not me! Not me! Actually, in the moments where I'm not swinging more to spiritual or swinging to the other side ready to say that it's all illusions and delusions, or so torn by both sides that I'm ready to have myself committed, I'm probably in a very unique position. But who is going to care about my ideas anyways? Scientists take one look at my liberal studies degree and snub their noses like that somehow disqualifies me from understanding or valuing scientific method. My spiritual friends hear one conversation where I talk about scientific method, and doubt my authenticity as a person of spiritual depth. I'll probably die taking my insights with me to the grave and then they'll all be sorry! LOL Hasn't anyone else here felt like the rope in the science/religion tug of war?

: I see what you're getting at now, I tend to aggree with you. These people writing fiction are not scientists or magicians, they're writers.

And what are writers if not intuitives with the ability to make the connections early on, before anyone else sees the obvious? It was writers who first stepped foot on the moon. It's only a matter of time till we develop anti-gravitational devices and achieve telportation. When we do, remember that writers saw it first.

Lady Galadriel Who is obsessed with writing. :-)
