Jesse, I don't really have any disagreement with you here, except in the comparison of Narnia with THE LORD OF THE RINGS first referred to as a "Christian" work. That Tolkien said it was such is interpreted many different ways. The "otherworldliness" is the touch of Faerie that Tolkien spoke of which we seek in our fairy stories. That is not what I was referring to in the other thread.
