: When did you work with ICE ("I try to....")?

I have never worked with or for ICE. I've written some articles for OTHER HANDS (see link below) and hope to contribute more in the future, but have no immediate plans. But Chris Seeman, the publisher of OTHER HANDS, has worked for ICE (and he may still be -- I haven't asked him how things have gone for him) and last year or in 1998 he put me in touch with some of the module writers. We've had a number of email discussions about Middle-earth which, I suppose, make the theorizing on the White Council look rather tame.

What I mean is that, they were actively fleshing out the gaming world and they wanted it to be as consistent with what Tolkien had written as possible, so they were being very meticulous in justifying their extrapolations and I had to be just as meticulous in providing my feedback and suggestions.

I think the most interesting discussions concerned the Wandering Companies. I hope that material is somehow published some day. I think a lot of people would be interested to see how the Wandering Companies might have worked. But before anyone asks why I don't publish it, well, I was just giving feedback. It's not my work to publish.
