: (I just hope Orlando is better looking than the pictures I've seen of him. He wasn't bad looking, but he wasn't Legolas handsome in those pictures either.) : Robin Shou would have made a great Legolas. He's handsome, he's Asian and has beautiful eyes, (The way I always imagined an Elf's eyes to look) slap on some contacts to make his eyes greyish or blue, depending on the hair color they want, slap on a realistic looking wig and you have the perfect Legolas. Handsome, strong looking, and a great actor! But that's just me. :-) Well, I'm a bit angry that they gave Legolas blond hair, when he was probably Sindarin and Avarin in descent (assuming Thranduil married one of the local girls). As for Mr. Shou, I've never heard of him, but you're description makes him sound good for the part. And what about Gimli? They made into comic stinkin' relief! A real waste of Mister Rhys-Davies' talent, I think. Sincerely, William B. Staples, AKA Wibstap AKA Baron Willhelm von Staplestein AKA Willy Lord of the Williampotamian Empire, etc., etc., etc.
