How long could such clothing survive before it had to be replaced? A few years? And how long would such clothing be available (I hesitate to say in style, as only two of the Nazgul were documented as having subsciptions to Gentleman's Quarterly, but this documentation was from a dubious source). As the years went by, and Sauron's dominion became stronger and stronger over his slaves, it's most likely that their reliance on such 'past life' articles, such as clothing or jewlrey became less and less until they all shopped at the same Black Leather store.
