: : snip : : Not necessarily. Weight is just a measure of the amount of pull the Earth, or in this case the Middle Earth has on a particular object. But mass is entirely different. And while typically, mass equates to a higher weight, it all depends on the amount of pull. Thus, if an elf were not completely in Middle Earth, but rather had a kind of duality, then his/her weight might be different, while his/her mass could be quite appealing in a muscular sense (if you go for that kind of thing). : : -RobRoy : (amused chuckle) : The Eldar "living at once in both worlds" taken to its most literal meaning ;). Maybe that could explain the radiance some see from them. If the hroa is partially elsewhere (and those atoms from their clothing necessary to cover that portion of the hroa) the it could be normal everyday light shining through those parts of the physical anatomy not there. ;)- : Eh... to metaphysical for me right now. Or even better, that the light is of a more unearthy or rather un-Middle Earthly origin, since it never dimishes around the elves. I like the thought of that, even if we are completely wrong! -RobRoy
