Posted by Gandalf on April 12, 2000 at 05:11:26 Hi there all. Well.... I have been chatting with some friends who are playing elves, and stuff on LotR.. AND, here's the latest Goss.... Okai, I can't verify any of this, but I trust these people, as not likely to tell fibs. Apparently, the elves are going to have light auras digitally added. I am not sure if this is going to be good news or not. The way they distinguish between elves and men is that men are coarser, and elves are "just beautiful" (as one person said). I dunno if that is true or not either, but hey. Also, apparently they filmed a scene, in which Aragorn made a pre-battle speech in elven (sindarin??), and upon finishing, a technician whispered "Pow", and everyone charged. Okai, the obvious question is, since when did Aragorn do moral speeches? And if he did (Helms deep??), why would he do it in elvish? There weren't any elven armies in the war of the ring.... Ahhh well, could be that it's all heresay, but that's what I've heard anyway.... Gandalf
