Is it on the Net? : : -Thentaran : The story that I wrote back in the late 70's is not on the Net. : Its length,book size, and the hope of one day publising it, are the reasons it is not on the Net. : One of the elements in the story is the divergence of hobbits into two groups. One group being the traditional short hobbits, the other being the taller descendents of Merry and Pippin. As the taller hobbits continued to become taller and more numerous, the traditional hobbits began to distance themselves from the taller hobbits. In my history, the traditional hobbits eventurally came to see the tall hobbits as men, not hobbits. : A while back, I posted a message or two on this board under the name of Wittsit Goodbody, the main hobbit character in that story. In that post, I implied that tradtional hobbits still existed throughout the world. An excellent story, if I remember...
