: hmm so after saying all that what was the point of ur question? wevery responce people have said u have turned it down or said u already knew that? what was ur point?

My point is a discussion on the possibility of orcs beeing redeemed. In a discussion, one person (or a group) takes a position and supports that position through facts and conjecture. Another person (or a group) takes a different position and while deconstructing the first position supports their own through facts and conjecture. Ultimately, what should be arrived at, is either a stalemate or a joint conclusion based on the deconstruction of previous arguments and the remaining supporting evidence.

When I stated that I already knew something, the statements didn't support or deconstruct anything that I had said, but were simply of a factual nature. No discussion was required, and I really wanted to discuss this thought.

: As for the orc/elf phyisilogy.. the desciptions of orcs and elves are heaps different all the way through both the hobbit and the LOTR.

Well, then we are simply misunderstanding each other. This should clear matters up: From Webster's II: Physiology: an organisms vital processes.

Thus when you say "physiology" in the matter of orcs/elves you should be refering to things like cardio-pulminary, circulatory, spinal and nervous system, gastro-intestinal, brain functions, etc.

Otherwise we are discussing physical features to which I can only offer the arguments that I made earlier regarding the nature of choice and it's lack of importance on physical characteristics.
