Aragon was raised as an elf?

While Aragorn was fostered by Elrond, he still had his mother, and other Dunedain of the North now & then, as "role models." He probably visited his people, and were visited by them in Rivendell at times.
I just fail to see being raised by elves, Elrond in particular, as necessarily a drawback. I would submit he would in fact know "the first thing" even if he was vague on details (which he wasn't). Who do you suppose taught Aragorn "Good and evil have not changed since yesteryear, nor are they one thing among Men and another among Elves and Dwarves." Morality is morality. :book:
And, as Michael points out, he polished off his education by serving the King of Rohan and the Steward of Gondor incognito. I don't think he missed much by the time he rejoined the Rangers of Arnor of whom he was chieftain.
