A number of people think that this season is going to be the final one for Enterprise. My own thinking is with the new production staff and plans to go back to more Trek roots the show has a real good chance. What does everyone else think? -

IF the first few weeks have some captivating storylines.... and if enough sporadic channel surfers bother to check in to get captivated by them.... and if they have the ability to appreciate them...which are three *major* "ifs" ... then the show has every chance in the world to do well.
It's not lookin' good right now though - here are the top ten network sci-fi shows for about three weeks ago, with their Nielsen ratings:
Joan of Arcadia 3.0
Smallville 1.7
Charmed 1.5
Enterprise 0.9

OK, granted these are reruns.... in the summer.... and UPN and the WB rarely get more than a 5.0 or 6.0 at their best....
but OMG! 0.9 for Enterprise on a Friday night, in virtually the same time slot that the original show had in the 60's??????
Sheesh. Even old Cleo reruns on Friday nights on cable got a 0.9.
