  There was a 2005 film Bewitched which did not perform very well ($85 million budget + $40 million marketing against a box office of $131 million).
  
  There were two I Dream of Jeannie made-for-TV films, and a third was planned but never filmed. I don't recall them very well, but I suspect they didn't do too well. The idea of a woman with incredible powers to make anything happen, but being subservient by design to the whims of her "master" probably wouldn't sit too well with most audiences.
  
  In the same vein, though, I would greatly recommend Three Thousand Years of Longing.

  A sort of re-imagining of Bewitched is in the works, apparently.

  That would be interesting. And Sony has a better track record than Netflix for letting series find themselves. Not always, of course, but better.
