Imagine Ourselves Imagined

You'll need the "way-back machine" for this one. Back in the 1950's, I found this poem in (I think) a SF Book Club anthology. It has been my favorite for many years-- I would like to know if anyone remembers it, or who wrote it.
'Imagine ourselves imagined.
Who thought us up?
The One Who could suppose a race of such supposers,
Would have to be Imagination Plus.
Extrapolating variables in variables....
'Till we imagine Him,
As He did us!'

I've tried all kinds of searches to find the source. It's one of those poems that the more you think about it, the deeper it gets.
Comment, anybody?
