Purpose
The Fan Sites Technical Help Forum is provided to members of the SF-FANDOM community as a resource where they may ask about or discuss technical issues concerning HTML coding, Web design, Javascript or Perl programming (or similar functions), Web site promotion, and community building activities.

Posts in this forum will not be added to your post SF-FANDOM post count.
Any active member of SF-FANDOM may ask general technical questions without naming or linking to any specific Web sites.
Any active member of SF-FANDOM may link to 3rd party resource sites that are well-known, confirmed, legitimate businesses, government resources, educational resources, or organizations. Examples include Adobe.com, Google.com, whitehouse.gov, etc. If you are not sure whether a URL is acceptable, do not include the
http portion.
Any active member of SF-FANDOM may ask general questions about Web site promotion, search engine optimization, and related topics.
Links to search engine optimization FAQs, tools, and tutorials may be moved or deleted at our discretion. Some generally well-known, highly trusted resources may be linked to from time to time to provide helpful information to SF-FANDOM community members.
SF-FANDOM members must have at least 100 active (counted) posts before they may link to their own Web sites in this forum.
No links to Web sites (even fan sites) which contain nudity, pornography, hate-speech, material of a mature or sexual nature, or material which advocates illegal activities. Fan sites often make use of trademarked images and names while providing a disclaimer. Links to such sites are permitted. Links to sites which do not acknowledge trademarks and intellectual property rights may, at our discretion, be removed without notice.
Off-topic discussion will be moved or deleted at our discretion without prior notice.
Bashing or bad-mouthing other people's sites is forbidden. Please keep Web site rivalries and personal hostilities out of these discussions.
Incidental criticism of specific advice is permissable as long as the majority of a post addresses the specific technical issues of the thread. Lengthy critiques or commentaries may be moved or deleted without prior notice.
