Thus far I don't think there have been any successful tv shows based on anything in the Bible - although they've done a few Moses mini-series over the yeaqrs, and a modern-day, modern-dress analogue for the story of
David and Saul - which got cancelled quickly.

Now if you Mean documentaries, Nat. Geo and the History Channel and PBS have done plenty of these already.

I suspect Badlands means a television show based on the Apocrypha. Geeze, that would be a bold move. It would certainly shake things up.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that someone was passing around a proposal like that.
