Boskone 2019

At the convention I gathered three new books. One from the free table, and two purchased.
Later I was notified that I had won an audio version of one of the books. It is 8-9 CD's long, so it sits in the auto ready to play.
This is my favorite convention, though I was too tired for one of my favorite events: The play. [This is written for, and acted by members of the convention, some of whom do this as a vocation or avocation.]
I did spend lots of time at panels, in the dealers room, the art show and the game room. [I could have picked up some of a card game of Pirates of the Caribbean but my niece decided that she wasn't interested.]
I spent lots of time talking to the people from the "Makers Space" from Worchester MA. Look for this in your local area. This 'space' provides room for new craft start ups, craft classes, 3D printers, and several sewing machines. They looked up and found one in my area. This could be neat.
So I chatted with friends, caught up with their life stories. I volunteered my time for set up and tear down (set up the Staff Den and participated in Art Show sales), I visited two Boston museums before the convention started, and drove home between the two snow events.
