  Modern history books don’t really discuss certain impact religion plays in history, but mostly the negative stuff and portrays secularism more positive. There is hardly anything in historical books about religious figures like Christ or Buddha or Mohammad, yet there are plenty of historical evidence on them especially Christ. Why?

  It would be hard to find too many actual historians (as opposed to bloggers, opinion-expressers, and fundamentalist-religious op-ed writers) who would agree that this is the case. But in broad histories covering thousands of years, no one gets more than a couple of paragraphs. So Jesus only gets two paragraphs...But he gets another under Constantine, another under Nicaea, another under the Orthodox split,  and another under Charlemagne.
