  Hello,  
  
  I’m search for the title of a S.F book that I read as a teenager. Owe follow a man who takes up his father's challenge, a space race to find the corpse of his older brother. During his travel, his ship is "destroyed" by a kind of cloud which feeds on the metal of the ship. In the end, the hero managed to find his brother's corpse, and we learn that his biological father is some sort of Captain Nemo who died in that same space race.
  I'm sorry not to be more precise, it's been too long since I read it.
  
  P.S : I believe the author is an respecting science fiction writer.

  Do you recall any of the character names? Or do you recall the names of any planets or cities mentioned in the story?
  
  Perhaps the names of spaceships, or their product names (like "the Xigal X-60 Starchaser")?

  I boldly admit that I no longer understand love.
  This is the story of seven astronauts who travel to the galaxy of Shaara on an exciting, dreamy and imaginative journey to each reach their fiery love.
  In the Galaxy of Shaara, they miraculously touch the absolute peace of beauty and love. Unbelievably, only love, happiness and peace reign there.
  The Galaxy of Shaara bears no resemblance to a land full of pain, slavery and deception.
  That love is so lovable and dreamy and has made them happy that they never want to return to earth.
  But in the hope that they will help the oppressed who are mired in misery and bring them to the galaxy of Shaara, they are willing to turn away from their love and return to earth for this human movement.
  However, the earth is occupied by the most evil metamorphosed humans.
  
  
  This book can make your life beautiful and hopeful.
  For me that was very impressive.
  It made me feel really good, even though it was a novel, it was a new vision at my life
  I suggest this amazing book
