Helping out a teacher friend who wants to use a classic story in her class.
It's probably by one of the "Old Masters" and it involves an art dealer on Mars and a stolen artifact.
Any clues?

Sorry no idea.
There is a story about "sand" monsters on Mars, and the fact that they disintegrate when touched. Hence the few that exist are ART and heavily guarded. A local brings someone with a "glue" to one of the monsters. The someone kicks an anthill over, and becomes a new monster himself. The glue works.
