I liked the M. Night Shyamalan adaptation but apparently I was the only person on Earth who did. Everyone else (especially people who had watched the original anime series) hated it.
So now Netflix is going to redo the whole concept as a series and maybe this time around people will enjoy it more. I am thinking seriously about watching it myself. But we recently cancelled our Netflix subscription, so I don't know.
