We know a lot of people would like to bookmark the short addresses for our forums. That is not so easy to do. The reason is that we use Javascript in those short address pages to redirect your browser to the correct location for the forums. So, when you click on a short address to a forum, your browser immediately loads a different page.
We don't do that to trick anyone. It's just turned out to be easier to do things this way. Since 1999, we have moved our forums about 8 times. Every time we change the addresses for the forums, links on hundreds of Web sites stop working properly, if they do not use the short URLs we provide here. Although we hope we'll never have to move the forums or change the software again, we are prepared for unforeseen changes.
If you would like to bookmark the short address for your favorite forum (and you should, just in case), then we recommend you follow this simple 2-step process:
1) Bookmark the forum.
2) Cut-and-paste the short URL from the list below and use it to replace the address your browser stored. You can do this through ORGANIZE FAVORITES or by right-clicking on the entry in the FAVORITES menu and then selecting PROPERTIES.
